Round and golden-brown Asian pears look slightly different than the bottom-heavy Bartlett or Bosc pears you often find in grocery stores. Crisp, juicy, and high in fiber, they're a tasty addition to green salads like this one.

Ingredients

2 cups raw arugula
1 medium raw Asian pear
1 tbsp grapeseed oil
1/8 tsp Dijon mustard
3 tbsp chopped pecans
3/4 tsp cider vinegar
1 dash sea salt
1 dash black pepper
1 drop stevia (add to taste)

Preparation

In a small bowl combine oil, sweetener, mustard and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

On a large plate arrange arugula and top with pear and pecans. Drizzle the dressing over the salad when ready to eat.
